Public display of affection can win train tickets following the announcement of the Light Rail Transit (LRT) administration that they will give free tickets to the most romantic couples they see in Lines 1 and 2 on Valentines Day. On Wednesday LRT Spokesperson Cabrera said that they will give away free tickets to 5 romantic couples that they will see. The tickets are redeemable vouchers good for 7 rides. Cabrera said the pairs will be chosen from passengers at selected stations from 6:00 am to 8:00 am on Valentine's Day. Meanwhile the official twitter account for LRTA advised couples to show romance in order to win. LRT Line 1 links to Roosevelt in Quezon City to Baclaran meanwhile LRT Line 2 links to Claro M. Recto in Manila to Santolan. The ticket from LRT Lines 1 and 2 costs between Php 12 to Php 20 depending on the number of stations the LRT trip will cover.
