This Tuesday the Malacanang Palace said that all provinces of the country destroyed by the Super Typhoon Yolanda will have equal amounts of assistance from the National Government. Pres. Spokesperson Lacierda said the government continues to support the victims of Yolanda in the Visayas region and quoted that no reports of mismanagement or concentration of assistance in certain areas have been reported. If there is any unbalanced distribution of assistance, Lacierda urged the public and the media to report the incidents to assure that all areas will be served equally by the National Government. Meanwhile communications breakdown and impassable roads in different areas have made the relief operations difficult, Lacierda said. The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council is in authority to announce which areas are yet to be reached by relief goods.
