Caldereta Recipe

Caldereta is a kind of stew which is cook made by tomatoes, peanut butter, coconut milk and desired choice of meat.Also favorite food of Filipinos serve in many special occassions and in simple day.Could be chicken,lamb,pork, beef, and seafood. This serves with steamed rice.
Here's how;
Beef Caldereta
Ingredients:
1/2 kilo beef sliced
1 tbsp. olive oil
2 gloves garlic crushed
2 tbsps. onion chopped
 1 medium carrot sliced
1 potato sliced
1 green or red bell pepper sliced
2 tbsps green peas
1 tbsp. tomato paste
200 ml. water
1 tbsp peanut butter
3 tbsps. coconut milk
salt and pepper to taste  
Procedure:
1.In a casserol, pour 1 liter of water and put meat into it and let it boil for about 2-3 hours depends on your desired tenderness.
2. After few hours of boiling, drain meat and set aside.
3. In other cooking pan, heat oil and sautee with garlic, and onion, and put meat together with carrots ,potatoes, tomato paste and water ,simmer for about 15-20 minutes until the vegetables are done.
4.Put peanut butter,and coconut milk and stir gradually ,put bell pepper and green peas, cover and simmer for about  2-3minutes.
5.Season with salt and pepper.
6. Serve with steamy rice.Enjoy!
