Obtaining of Greek citizenship through birth-Who have right to apply

All categories, supporting documents and the settings OF GREEK NATIONALITY Law. 4332/2015 will be post to pubic by our editors team According to Art. 1A par. 1 of GNC (Fixed Provisions) has right to apply for Greek citizenship through birth, foreign child who:

• Has already been born from the 9th-7-2015 (publication date of the Law. 4332/2015) and after
• Registered on first grade of primary school and still attends consecutive school in Greece at the time of the Joint Declaration-application of parents and
• It is a minor at the time of the declaration-application of his parents

According to Art. 2 par. 1 of Law. 4332/2015 (Transitional Provisions)has right to apply for Greek citizenship through birth, foreign child who:

• Has already been born (up to 8-7-2015) in Greece
• It is a minor at the time of publication of the Law. 4332/2015, ie. during the 9th-7-2015
• Performed or performs registration in the first grade of primary school and still attends straight
• Attends school in Greece at the time of the Joint Declaration-application of his parents and is a minor at the time of the declaration-application of his parents.
