Some 250 homes were razed in an early morning fire in Sta. Cruz, Manila yesterday destroying properties worth P3 million.
The fire occurred at 900 Oroquieta Street just behind the Manila City
Jail, on the second floor of the residence of Bhaby Manalo, fire
investigators said.
Five hundred families were affected in the fire. The two-story home
caught fire at about 5:12 a.m. and reached fifth alarm at 5:23 a.m. It
was placed under Task Force Alpha at 5:30 a.m. and fire out at 7:33
a.m..
Fire Investigator SFO4 John Joseph Jalique recorded one injury: Christy Dogma, 32, who complained of difficulty in breathing.
