If it happened in the United States, it would already be a mistrial, Vice President Jejomar Binay said he lambasted the alleged "Trial by Publicity" being suffered by those allegedly involved in the Php 10 Billion Pork Barrel/PDAF Scam. Binay voiced out his sentiments on the investigation into the alleged diversion of the government funds to bogus Non-Government Organizations in an interview after leading a housing caravan at the Batangas Provincial Capitol last Friday. Binay's political allies, Sen. Enrile and Sen. Estrada are among those implicated in the scam. Binay was earlier criticized for allegedly branding the testimony of socialite Ruby Tuason as a "dud". In an interview with ABS-CBN "Aquino and Abunda Tonight" show later Friday, Binay said he has "serious reservations" on Tuason to be a state witness on the Pork Barrel/PDAF Scam. Based on her testimony, Binay said he feels Tuason might be one of the most guilty among those charged in connection with the scam.
