Philippines-Pacquiao Preaches Cebu Inmates on His Visit

Boxing icon and Sarangani Rep. Pacquiao preached the word of God and witnessed dance performances and boxing exhibition games when he visited the famous dancing inmates of the Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center (CPDRC) on Thursday afternoon. Pacquiao was warmly welcomed by the inmates who performed their famous dance productions to the tune of "Jump" , "They Don't Really Care About Us" and some of Pacquiao's novelty song like "Para Sa'yo ang Laban Na'To". About 1,800 inmates joined the dance showdown wherein 800 served as the main performers. Pacquiao later spoke to the inmates to share his life struggles and how he changed from being a man of vices to a man of God. He also admitted that he was a former inmate of Manila City Jail because of his wrongdoings in the past. "I'm not introducing religion here", he said but stressed the importance of having true relationship with God. The boxing superstar share how he has been reading the Holy Bible everyday after he had a dream some years back that drastically changed his lifestyle. In his dream, he said he saw himself kneeling inside a beautiful forest with tall trees and lush flowers when a bright light shone on him and a voice asked "Son, Why are you going away from me?" "I woke up crying. I remember I was crying in my dream and when i touched my pillow, it was wet as well as my hair." He said. Pacman said he looked for the meaning of the dream and found answers on the Holy Bible. He told the inmates that the way of salvation is in the Holy Bible, urging them that it's never too late to change if they start now. Pacquiao also witnessed 3 amateur boxing bouts with 3 rounds each.
