An order by the president for the early release of the government employees Christmas bonus Budget and Management Sec. Florencio Abad said last Wed. A statement from gov.ph said that the president wanted to release the year end bonuses early so government employees who were affected during the Super Typhoon Yolanda can have funds to use, while those who weren't affected would also have new resources to help the victims. Abad also said the government employees will receive 1/2 of the 13th month pay and a cash gift worth Php 5,000.
