The Senate will issue a subpoena today compelling the detained businesswoman Janet Lim-Napoles to appear before it's investigation into the Php 10 Billion PDAF Scam. Drillon had earlier been criticized for refusing to sign the subpoena for Napoles, but the senate pres. said that the subpoena would be directed to the Makati Regional Trial Court which has the jurisdiction with Napoles. Drillon also said that the addressing of the subpoena will be difficult if directly to Napoles since she is already under the court's custody which is hearing the illegal detention case filed against her by the whistleblower Benhur Luy.
