At very young age, Janella showed potential in singing which she directly got it from her parents. Her first TV appearance was in Eat Bulaga’s game portion ‘Sa Pula, Sa Puti’ back then when she and mommy Jenine became as guest contestants. Few moments after the show, she was noticed and contacted by director Manny Valera to sign a managerial contract and Mr. M also called up Janella to make her became part of the royal celebrities in the Star Magic 2013.
Janella was among of those several young stars that took the audition as Ser Chief’s daughter Nikki Grace Lim in BCWMH. She never expected to be chosen for portraying the said role because of her lack of experience in showbiz industry.
The 15 year old teen star revealed her dreams to become a lead star one day and to work with her long-time crush Daniel Padilla. She also expressed her desire to take chances on playing a role for “Maalaala Mo Kaya”. Just like her mom, Janella wanted to pursue and develop her singing skills.
