The government offers free transport in Greece for two largest cities, Athens and Thessaloniki, until the banks open again, Infrastructure, Transport and Network minister Christos Spirtzis announced.
Free transport will be avilable starting Tuesday, Spirtzis announced in a TV interview Monday.
The offer is good for all modes of urban transport, Spirtzis said
Banks are due to reopen on Tuesday, July 7, although the government can shorten or extend the bank holiday, depending on circumstances.
