Representation of of journalists from the Philippines in Greece yesterday 23 of Sep 2014


Τhe Deputy Mayor for Tourism, Basil Lykostratis, welcomed a delegation of four journalists from the Philippines yesterday 23 of Sep 2014.
 
Head of the journalists were Christine O. Cunanan, publisher of the largest tourist magazine in the Philippines, TRAVELIFE Magazine, which was accompanied by the acolytes. 

The TRAVELIFE Magazine is one of the leading publications for luxury travel and lifestyle in Southeast Asia with extensive regional distribution. The TRAVELIFE highlights destinations through personal travel experience the same strains. Thus, the information presented in "first person" and referring to historical monuments, archaeological sites, restaurants, hotels and entertainment. 

The journalist team travels this time in Greece (Thessaloniki, Athens, Crete, Meteora), aiming to promote the country's tourism market in Asia. In this context, at the invitation of the Mayoralty of Tourism, visited Greece 

TRAVELLIFE Magazine presenting the historical monuments of the archaeological site of Vergina and the Apostle Paul, gastronomy and wine tradition area and the historic city center. 
During their stay, the delegates had the opportunity to tour the most characteristic corners of Greece, to experience the culture and civilization, to visit attractions and landmarks such as archaeological treasures of Vergina where literally left speechless! Also had the chance to taste traditional dishes and enjoy local wines. Mr. Lykostratis summarizing the main objectives of Tourism Mayoralty, he said that the priorities of five years is a significant association of Veria Aegae as a single tourist destination and the longest stay of tourists in our city.
