The Customs Commisioner Rozzano Rufino Biazon and 33 others were all charged with malversation, direct bribery and graft and corruption in connection with the PDAF Scam, DOJ Sec. Leila De Lima said this Friday. Biazon a former congressman from Muntinlupa, was charged before the Office of the Ombudsman along with former Ilocos Sur Rep. Baterina; a former Davao Del Sur 1st District Rep. Cagas IV; former Davao Del Norte Rep. Olanop; former Oriental Mindoro Rep. Valencia; Former South Cotabato 2nd District Rep. Pingoy; 2 aides; 3 agency heads; 2 NGO Pres.; 7 Agency Employees; 12 COA Auditors and the alleged Pork Barrel PDAF Scam mastermind Janet Lim Napoles. De Lima also said that 11 former lawmakers were supposed to be charged, but this was cut to 7 because 4 of them are dead. The filing of the 2nd Batch of cases in connection with the PDAF Scam was postponed several times. She also said she needed more time to make sure all the documents were in order.
