3.3 Magnitude Earthquake has jolted some areas in Ilocos Sur Monday noon, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs). Local Phivolcs Researcher Porferio de Peralta said that quake occurred at 12:20 pm Monday with epicenter located at 35 Km South West of Santa Catalina, Ilocos Sur with a depth of 33 Km. Intensity 1 was felt in Sinait, Ilocos Sur he said, the quake was tectonic in origin but there's no aftershock expected. Few minutes after the 3.3 magnitude quake, another 2.9 magnitude quake happened at 12:42 pm with epicenter at 10 Km North West of Bakun, Benguet. No damage has been submitted.
