This ad, entitled Advice From A Former Smoker, projected for three months in American television networks and is part of the whole campaign against smoking, titled Tips From Former Smokers.
Now, official data from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention show that this campaign has made in the three months projected, 100,000 people to quit smoking.
The survey showed a 12% increase in those who were trying to quit smoking. This corresponds to 220,000 people. But because some backslide, the calculation of the Center is that only ads in the campaign that finally cut smoking 110,000 smokers.
