Philippines-Magnitude 7.2 Hits Central Visayas Especially Bohol and Cebu

7 of the Heritage Churches were all majorly damaged after a 7.2 magnitude earthquake struck Bohol and Cebu this early morning of Tuesday. The biggest church on Bohol The Church of Our Lady of Light in Loon is severely destroyed, some of the other churches in Bohol that have been damaged are  San Pedro Church in Loboc, Baclayon Church, Loay Church, St. Isidore Farmer Church and Dauis Church. The Basilica Minore Del Sto. Nino de Cebu was just partially damged compared to those of the other churches in central visayas. The oldest surviving structure in Dumaguete city called Belfry Tower is also decimated by the earthquake. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Philvolcs) had submitted the report that the epicenter is at the mountainous area of Carmen, Bohol.
