The actress-TV host Megan Young crowned as Miss World Philippines 2013 coronation night held last night, Sunday, August 18, at the Grand Ballroom of Solaire Resort and Casino in Parañaque City.
Besides the crown, Megan also the most received special awards: Best in Fashion Runway, Miss Sports by Fila, reducin Miss, Miss Olay, Laguna Miss World, Miss Bold and Glamorous by Revlon, Miss Figlia, and Miss Bench Body.
Megan's tenancy to represent the Philippines in Miss World 2013 held on September 28 in Indonesia.
During her interview Megan said :
About her win, "I do not know how to feel right now ... I'm just very happy.
"I just wanna thank God for this, for where I am now.
"I've been preparing for this for a long time and my priority now is how I would Compete at Miss World.
"I do not believe it 'coz I've been dreaming about this since I was thirteen years old and here I am now.
"Actually, I was not confident about this when i was in high school.
"Actually I cry because I know how I worked hard for this.
"Also, my idea before, I just have to work hard and show them what I have and I'm just happy that I've gone this far."
