The results of controls from 27 April to 3 May
In 16 arrests foreign police went from 27 April to 3 May, within the enterprise host Zeus, held in the wider center of Athens.
In particular, as announced by the Police:
- Arrested 16 foreigners because they do not meet the legal requirements for their stay in the country, as well as other violations of the Aliens Act.
- Arrested 19 people (both nationals and foreigners) for violations of drug laws, violations of the gambling, smuggling, pending convictions and other offenses.
- Seized 10,839 contraband items and paremporiou (cigarettes, clothing, pirated CD - DVD 's, etc.).
Noted that since the start of the operation have been arrested 5,311 foreigners, because they did not meet the legal conditions for stay in the country, as well as other violations of the Aliens Act.
Actions and police checks within the enterprise continues daily.
