The unemployment rate in the Eurozone stood at 12% in February, remaining stable when compared to the previous month, according to data released today by Eurostat.
In the EU-27, the unemployment rate increased slightly to 10.9% from 10.8% in January.
According to estimates by the European statistical office, the unemployed in the EU-27 amounted to 26.338 million, of which 19.071 were in the Eurozone.
Greece is at the top of the list with 26.4% in December, followed by Spain with 26.3% and Portugal with 17.5%.
The unemployment rate in Cyprus jumped at 14% in February from 13.7% in January, while in Spain it rose to 26.3% from 26.2%
